Who it's for

The Community Cardiac Services is an NHS service for patients registered with GPs in the local area. If a GP suspects a patient may have a heart condition, they will refer to The Community Cardiac Service for further investigation and care. Patients will remain under the care of the service while their condition is being investigated. Depending on the outcome, they will either be discharged or referred to a Cardiologist for further treatment.

What We Do

The Community Cardiac Service investigates and recommends follow up care for patients with suspected heart conditions.
Many of the tests needed for diagnosing heart conditions can be carried out at a community clinic. This saves patients from having to go to hospital unless absolutely necessary.
The clinics are run Cardiologists , along with Cardiac Nurses and Physiologists.
